LANXESS at Drink Technology India 2012, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai from November 6 to November 8, 2012

International trade fair for beverage and liquid food technology

With a clear focus on beverage and liquid food technology, Drink Technology India (DTI) provides a platform which brings together technologists and marketers from the Indian beverage industry.

Around 130 exhibitors from the world over presented their tailor-made solutions for India at DTI 2012, in Mumbai. LANXESS exhibited the applications of Velcorin, a microbial control agent that stabilizes the beverage during the production process.

Alongside the exhibition, there was a conference where experts from the industry explored different aspects of beverage technology. Mr. Philipp Borgs, Product Manager - Beverage Technology, Business Unit - Material Protection Products (MPP), LANXESS AG, presented on the topic ‘Hot-fill vs. cold-fill: effects on packaging, costs and sensory properties of beverages’ and Mr. Asad Shaikh, Manager - Sales and Technical, Material Protection Products, LANXESS India, spoke on the topic, ‘New cold-fill technology for India’. Through these lectures, LANXESS introduced itself as a viable partner for the industry.
