Diethylphosphite

Diethylphosphite is an intermediate chemical used to make agrochemicals and flame retardants.

Diethyl phosphite is a a synthesis chemical known for its phosphorylating effect. Basically the production of agrochemicals and flame retardants accounts for the major part of the synthesis chemicals consumption. Beyond that alkyl phosphites are used as intermediates in chemical reactions such as creating carbon-carbon double bonds.
