Manager – Business Development and Sales (Tyre)

Qualification: Graduation in Chemical / Polymer Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing in related industry preferably in Tyre. MBA is preferred but not mandatory

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage sales at assigned national tire customers for BU TSR products with an active/regular interaction with the customers, BU Team & Support functions in consultation with Head-ISC
• Steer business growth for assigned Tire accounts by actively managing appropriate relationship, preparing and implementing proper account plans in close coordination with Head –ISC to achieve budgeted volume and margin for India sub-continent
• Manage MIS/monthly reportings, Monthly Forecasting & coordination with Region to achieve the FC accuracy
• Steer Market intelligence activities, tracking competition/customer activities, analysis of industry data, capturing industry development  and trends to assist ISC head and region to formulate appropriate business /account strategy.
• Coordinate with technical services to ensure timely services and complaints handling to the assigned accounts & to ensure approvals of new grades and new developments.
• Monitor & Manage receivables at the assigned tyre accounts to achieve overall DSO for ISC

Other requisites:
• Good analytical skills to maintain & analyse large number of data. Proficiency in Power Point, MS Excel, and Word etc. Also familiar with Lotus notes.
• Good communication & Inter-personnel skills for efficient co-ordination with internal and external customers
• Fluency in Hindi & English

Value Addition:
• Ensure sustained business growth at the assigned Tire customers, manage the complete sales cycles including negotiations  within the guidelines/ in line with the strategy & in consultation with the Head-ISC
• Managing Market intelligence, Forecasting, & MIS for India sub-Continent for a faster & effective decision making , single point Coordination with regional team on planning/ allocations, executions etc
