Ananth Arumugam is Production Manager for Rhein Chemie in Madurai. His responsibilities include making sure that the Madurai production process meets standards, planning and controlling production, and identifying areas of improvement. He has more than a decade of experience in rubber chemicals. He joined Rhein Chemie in 2006, and previously worked for companies such as HSI Automotives and Accura Valves.

On the LANXESS experience:

I am proud to be part of LANXESS as I can see how the company enables the application of chemistry and converts chemical knowledge into customer requirements.
Transparency and working towards team goals are excellent at LANXESS and this motivates all of us who work here.


On balancing work-life:

Most of the time I try to balance work-life commitments. I have the hobbies like reading history books and books in Tamil and listening to music. I like A R Rahman, Sudha Ragunathan and Yanni. Hearing music makes me happy, making me forget all negative feelings.
