Shaun Mendes is responsible for coordinating the SAP Business Warehouse in the Competency and Development Centre Department. His responsibilities include monitoring daily data flow, error correction and sending out email notices. He joined LANXESS in 2009 and has 5 years of experience as a SAP consultant.

Here are some thoughts from Shaun on what it means to be part of LANXESS:

On the LANXESS experience:

When I started out in LANXESS, we had around 10 -15 people in our department in India. In the last 14 months, we have more than doubled in size. I feel really proud to be associated with an organization that has in a short time achieved so much.

LANXESS being a manufacturing company, I have actually been  exposed  to a core business, which otherwise in an IT company I would not have had the chance. I developed skills in data mining from various sources, which has been fulfilling.

On balancing work-life:

Being in IT, it becomes essential to manage time. Saturdays and Sundays are solely for my family. I believe in keeping myself actively involved in sports, since it helps to stay fit and beat stress. My hobbies include playing cricket and listening to music.
