LANXESS supports Special Need Education Home (SNEH) at Nagda

  • Supports SNEH in the construction of their new building

Nagda, July 04, 2012: LANXESS India Private Limited, the leading specialty chemicals company having a manufacturing site in Nagda, is supporting yet another cause, as a part of its commitment to work for the welfare of the society. Continuing its extended support, the company has made a donation of rupees three lakhs to the NGO ‘Special Need Education Home’ (SNEH), at Nagda.

SNEH is a non-governmental organization that works towards the betterment of differently abled children and endeavors to make them self-reliant by providing them vocational training and occupational therapy. The donation will be utilized by the NGO for the construction of its new building coming up at Nagda.

The contribution was announced at a function held in the Community Hall was attended by Mrs Shobha Yadav, Chairperson - Municipality, Nagda; Mr. Sajjan Singh Shekhawat, Vice Chairperson – Municipality, Nagda; Mr Dilip Singh Shekhawat, BJP Leader; Mr. Subodh Swami, Congress Leader; Mr. Santosh Tagore, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nagda; Mr. Deepak Shukla, City Superintendent of Police, Nagda; Mr. Kalyan Chakarvarthy, IPS; Mr. V.S Chaturvedi, CMO, Nagda along with the other guests, media and LANXESS employees .

Addressing the guests who were present at the function, Mr. Neelanjan Banerjee, Senior Executive Director of LANXESS India said, “The SNEH team has been doing a commendable job in helping differently abled children to become independent so that they lead a normal life. We are pleased to be of help to them once more, in a small way and wish them success in all their future endeavors”

In the past, the company has also made sponsorship of rupees five lakhs to the NGO for the development of infrastructure and new equipment to cater the needs of these differently abled children.
