LANXESS helps start up a Public Library for students in Nagda
December 04, 2012: LANXESS, in co-operation with the Nagda Municipality has set up a fully functional library equipped with text books, reference books, journals and magazines near its site in Nagda.
The library has books pertaining to the syllabi of the Madhya Pradesh State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and ICSE for students from Class VIII to Class XII. These include subjects like English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Civics, Environment Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounts, Economics and Computer Science among others.
For college students who are pursuing their undergraduate studies in Science, Commerce, Arts, Business Administration or Computer Application can also benefit from an array of course books prescribed by the University as well as reference books. LANXESS will also provide for monthly magazines on general interest topics and newspapers through ongoing subscriptions.
Through this investment, LANXESS has made an effort towards providing better resources and an environment to support their studies. This includes the interiors of the library the cost of books and periodicals.
