LANXESS India will support the Bharat Commerce Vidyalaya (BCI School) in Nagda for 2010. LANXESS India will provide equipments for the modernization of the Physics and Chemistry laboratories and five computers to the school. The school will have its first computer centre set up with these computers. Additionally, LANXESS would also contribute to the books and periodicals for the library and facilities for the nursery section in the school. A substantial number of students would benefit from this contribution.
Consequent to BCI shutting down, the BCI School has been running with the fees collected from the students and minimal government support. By helping the school to revive its facilities and gain back its past glory,LANXESS would propel the cause of better education in Nagda and hence re-iterate its core values. LANXESS is committed towards building a sustainable ecosystem in every region that it operates in.
Globally, LANXESS has been engaged in several initiatives pertaining to education to be able to make a difference in the lives of children who would become better citizens in future.
