LANXESS India supported Shaskiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, located in Mehtwas village at Nagda in order to make a meaningful difference to the 125 odd students studying there. This is a government managed school and LANXESS in its initiative in the first year has improved the infrastructure of this school in addition to donating essential items to the students. In order to encourage education within the community and with a focus on upliftment of children belonging to weaker sections of the society, LANXESS has also provided scholarships to the meritorious students of every class.

Through this initiative, LANXESS would be able to improve the quality of education of the children of this school.  

In a small function organized in the school on 18 November 2010 where external government dignitaries from Nagda were present, Mr. Neelanjan Banerjee, Senior Executive Director, LANXESS INDIA Private Limited and Senior Vice President-Advanced Industrial Intermediates (AII) said, “It is our pleasure to be able to support the young children of the school. At LANXESS, we have endeavor to contribute positively to the lives of the people and environment in Nagda and will continue to do so.”
