LANXESS at IILF 2017 in Chennai, India, February 1-3, Hall 2, Stand 11A

High-quality products for leather manufacturing

Specialty chemicals company LANXESS showcased a comprehensive range of leather products at the India International Leather Fair (IILF) 2017 held in Chennai from February 1-3, 2017 in Hall 2, Stand 11A.


LANXESS presented its extensive portfolio for manufacturing leathers for footwear, clothing, furniture and automotive industries. This included mineral and synthetic tanning agents, preservatives, retanning and fatliquoring agents, dyes and numerous finishing and upgrading products.


LANXESS exhibited leather goods such as shoes, bags and clothing, through which it highlighted leather’s versatility in use and processing. How leather can shape automotive interiors was impressively demonstrated using the example of a BMW Z4 car displayed at the booth. Leather and leather products on display gave the visitors a first-hand experience of the advantage of partnering with LANXESS in the leather business.

About IILF:
The India International Leather Fair is a platform for manufacturers and dealers in the leather industry to showcase products, developments and trends. The trade fair covers a wide range of leather goods such as footwear, clothing, accessories, bags, belts, gloves, purses and wallets as well as chemicals, tools, machinery and equipment of importance in leather processing. This was the 32nd time that this fair was organized and over 400 companies(including more than a hundred from 20 countries outside Germany) & 13,000 visitors registered their presence.
