LANXESS India sponsors ‘Mumbai Christmas Fest’ organized by the Indo German Chamber of Commerce

Mumbai, 5 December, 2009 - Mumbai city is resonating with the sound of fun and frolic from over 20,000 children and adults who have gathered at the Royal Western India Turf Club (Mahalaxmi Race Course) to celebrate ‘Christmas Fest 2009’, an event sponsored by German specialty chemical company LANXESS India and organized by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) in Mumbai.

 

Held on 5 and 6 December, ‘Christmas Fest 2009’ includes games and activities, workshops, entertainment programs, horse racing and shopping for the entire family. Revelers can also look forward to a lavish party spread of German food and drinks: specialties such as Lebkuchen, Christollen and the traditional Glühwein, different flavors of German sausages and a “Beer Garden”. The performance by German band “Die Sulmtaler” promises to be another highlight.
 
Santa Claus will also surprise by riding not on a sledge but on an autorickshaw during the fest. Kids can interact with Santa himself and indulge in a number of activities including puppet shows, fire limbo show, magic shows and many more.
