Waste water post treatment plant inaugurated at the LANXESS site in Nagda. The plant will make the site virtually free from any effluents and also recover water for re-use in its production processes.

LANXESS India bags the IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award 2010 in the ‘manufacturing category’. This is the highest category of award for quality from an Indian industry body and has been conferred for LANXESS operations at its manufacturing site in Nagda in Madhya Pradesh.

LANXESS India, started up the production of a state-of-the-art co-generation power plant at its manufacturing site in Nagda,in October 2010.The Co-generation plant, which is fuelled by the biomass fuel - soya husk, meets virtually most of the power requirements of the Advanced Industrial Intermediates plant of LANXESS at the site

LANXESS India Nagda site received the Water Resource Management Award from Indian Chemical Council. The award paid tribute to LANXESS’ production site in Nagda for its innovative approach to recycling domestic sewage water and harnessing it for industrial use.
