Ma Niketan

As a part of its CSR initiative, LANXESS supported a Thane based Charitable Trust – Ma Niketan on July 16, 2012 by donating essential school stationery items.

A total of 350 school kits which included school bags, drawing books, geometry boxes, color crayons and yoga mats were provided to Ma Niketan. The contribution was made through a small ceremony at Ma Niketan’s premises in Thane.

Founded in 1972, Ma Niketan is home to over 300 girls between the age group of 5 years and 25 years, who do not have the security of a parental home. The trust provides the girls with basic education, professional training, job opportunities and other health care facilities.
