Setup of Smart Digital Classroom

LANXESS has always believed in contributing towards education. Implementing this belief in our CSR initiative, LANXESS India is supporting Municipal schools in the vicinity of our operations, with interactive e-learning tool in order to enhance the quality of education.  These tools have been set up in each school for children to experience Audio-Visual learning in alignment with the curriculum of the Boards governing the schools.
Currently, 5 schools in Jhagadia, are supported by LANXESS namely:
• Fulwadi Primary school
• Kapalsadi Primary school
• Kapalsadi Government Secondary School
• Selod Primary school
• St. Xavier’s high school

Similar arrangements are being provided at 2 Municipal Corporation schools in the neighborhoods of LANXESS India HQ, Thane. LANXESS India has contributed INR 22,75,000 for this initiative in the year 2017-2018.

Impressing LANXESS commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility by way of technological intervention in educational empowerment, LANXESS India signed a three year long agreement with the Government College, Nagda, Madhya Pradesh for supporting the institution with e-learning tools. This project is in line with LANXESS’ vision of a digital future and also finds resonance with the current government’s focus on creating a digitally empowered nation.

LANXESS India, in a ceremony held at Civil Hospital, Nagda in the presence of Dilip Singh Shekhawat, local Member of Legislative Assembly, Neelanjan Banerjee, Senior Executive Director, Sanjay Singh, Site Head, Nagda, and other esteemed dignitaries from the state and local administration, formalized the agreement with the Government College of Nagda to support the institution with seven interactive e-learning tools at a cost of around Rs.15,00,000.
