LANXESS India celebrates ‘World Environment Day’ in Nagda
- LANXESS India plants saplings in Nagda, Madhya Pradesh, to create a Green Zone
- Green zone emphasizes LANXESS’s commitment towards environmental sustainability
LANXESS India, specialty chemicals company, celebrated World Environment Day at its manufacturing unit in Nagda, Madhya Pradesh by planting saplings within the plant. Over the next 3 months a total of about 3000 saplings are going to be planted at the Nagda site. LANXESS employees of the Business Unit Basic Chemicals, contractors, customers and local government representatives assembled to plant saplings in order to be a part of this ‘green’ movement.
LANXESS is committed to its responsibility of protecting the environment and this initiative corroborates LANXESS’ core values. LANXESS continuously strives towards improving the environmental health and safety knowledge as well as performance of its technologies, processes and products over their life cycles.
