On 30 April 2013, at 09:15 pm there was an incident at our Nagda facility where a glass tube rotameter in the Thionyl Chloride plant developed a crack. Consequently there was leakage of material. The administration together with the LANXESS team on site took immediate measures. The situation was brought under control, the release was stopped forthwith. The affected people, who experienced breathing discomfort, were admitted at a hospital. They have all been released in the meantime.
