Genitron is a family of chemical blowing agents used for the manufacture of polymeric foams
Genitron® is a family of organic or inorganic additives (blowing agents) used in the manufacture of polymeric foams. They are stable up to 20°C, but decompose at elevated temperatures during the processing of polymers to generate gases which form a foam structure in the polymer matrix. One of the most efficient chemical blowing agents is azodicarbonamide.
The outstanding features of polymeric foams are weight reduction and lower consumption of polymer, which together result lower energy use and lower cost, as well as improved sound and heat insulation.
