LANXESS India endeavours to support children’s welfare and education in the country. In August 2009 LANXESS made a donation to Aparajitha Foundation in support of the ‘Thalir Thiran Thittam’ (TTT) program. The sponsorship benefits three schools in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, for a period of six years and enable students to learn 120 skills.
The vision of TTT is to inspire students toward realizing their full potential and having a holistic approach to life. The life skills program will expose them to soft skills, right attitudes and constructive thinking, which are extremely important in life, but which are not covered by the regular curriculum. It aims to make the students feel more confident and better equipped to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life, thus leading to a more ‘Confident India’.
